In the News…

The Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard removed two officials who headed the National Intelligence Council. The acting and deputy chairs of the council were reported by whistleblowers to be “radically opposed” to President Donald Trump. In her efforts to remove any politicization of intelligence, Director Gabbard also moved the agency to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.

The acting chair of the council had whistleblower complaints claiming that he was “deliberately undermining the incoming Trump administration.” The deputy was known as an advocate of diversity, equity, and inclusivity.

Director Gabbard also referred three members of the intelligence community to the Justice Department for criminal prosecution for allegedly leaking classified information. Other intelligence bureaucrats who leaked information have also lost their jobs.

“Politicization of our intelligence and leaking classified information puts our nation’s security at risk and must end,” Director Gabbard stated last month. “Those who leak classified information will be found and held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.”
